Volunteers
Training Schedule
All HSWO volunteers receive thorough training for all
duties they perform. We provide an orientation which introduces
all volunteers to our HSWO mission and philosophy.
It also provides the opportunity for volunteers to become familiar with
our office and staff. Each position or program places specific
demands upon our volunteers therefore each area has its own essential
training needs.
We offer training at different times depending upon the
needs of the office and the volunteers. Please

to find out when the next volunteer orientation is scheduled.
** HSWO is a nonprofit, United Way organization
that promotes comprehensive hospice care services for the patient
and their family. We continuously provide community and professional
education to patients, professionals, and the families they
serve in issues relating to care giving, terminal illness, spiritual
comfort, loss and bereavement.
